The emergence of welding robot technology has brought great convenience to users. When using welding robots with submerged arc welding machines, the wire feeding process is basically a one-step process because the welding robot has an automatic wire feeding system, including wire feeding, wire feeding tube, and reel components. The wire is delivered to the designated position through proper configuration.
The emergence of welding robot welding technology has brought great convenience to users. When using welding robots with submerged arc gas shielded welding machines, the wire feeding process is basically a one-step process because the welding robot has an automatic wire feeding system, including wire feeding, wire feeding tube, and reel components. The wire is delivered to the designated position through good configuration.
The wire feeding system of the welding robot can feed wire in three different ways. One is the push-wire type, which has a relatively simple structure, is lightweight, and easy to operate and maintain, but the wire feeding resistance is relatively large. As the length of the wire feeding hose increases, the wire feeding stability deteriorates. Therefore, this wire feeding method is usually used for semi-automatic gas welding with a wire diameter of 2.0mm and a wire feeding hose length of 5m.
Another wire feeding method used in the automatic welding robot wire feeding system is the pull-wire type, which separates the wire reel from the welding torch, connecting the two through a wire feeding hose. Another method is to install the wire reel directly on the torch. These two methods are suitable for fine wire semi-automatic gas welding, using welding wire with a diameter less than or equal to 0.8mm, providing more stable wire feeding.
